Larry has been a pioneer in the advertising and communications industry for over four decades. Larry helps define the overall strategy and vision of the agency, He is responsible for agency business development and helps shape industry thought leadership.
In 2008, Larry successfully transitioned the company into a multi-platform advertising agency specializing in media planning and negotiations as well as print, website design and hosting and direct mail. Originally founded as the Larry Stevens Agency, Inc., the company changed its name to SMI Advertising, Inc. after forming a new partnership with Andrea Ingram and Brent Markwell.

Brent joined the company in 2008 and the company became Stevens, Markwell, Ingram Advertising, Inc. or SMI Advertising. Brent has ultimate responsibility for setting and meeting all client business and communication objectives and for overseeing the growth of those accounts. He specializes in developing cross-media programs that deliver consistent brand messaging to target audiences.
Brent offers an extensive and diverse background spanning multiple marketing disciplines. Brent's range of experience is an important asset to SMI Advertising and it's customer's.

Andrea has played a significant role in shaping SMI Advertising's creative vision. Andrea guides the creative process consisting of visual designers, copywriters, and interaction designers, working in close collaboration across disciplines. Andrea developed her design sensibility as a Graphic Design and Marketing student at Auburn University of Montgomery
Andrea ensures that SMI stays true to its legacy by fostering creative ideas in all team members, including those in technology and strategy.
